Exhibition

Novocastrian Quilters holds an exhibition of members’ work every second year.

Our exhibitions showcase over 100 quilts in the general and special challenge categories.

We also have a stall of small items handmade by members and a number of local patchwork and quilting vendors.

Planning is well underway for our 2026 exhibition and we look forward to welcoming you!

Our theme this year is Make Do and Mend so on top of our general display of beautiful and varied quilts, we're looking forward to some exciting entries in our Scraptastic Challenge.

2024 Exhibition

Our 2024 exhibition was our 40th Anniversary show and was our largest ever. It was held in July at Callaghan College in Jesmond.

We had 180 beautiful quilts on show including our Ruby Challenge entries.

2022 Exhibition

Our 2022 exhibition was held in October and moved to Callaghan Campus in Jesmond. We displayed 160 quilts and the Challenge theme for 2022 was ‘Blooming Again’.
